Teaching

My teaching is closely aligned with my research. I cover a broad range of subjects, including the politics of violence, the politics of conflict, authoritarian politics, quantitative methods in political science, international relations, and comparative politics.

This year, I am leading the Comparative Politics (PIED1110) module and co-leading the Advanced Statistical Analysis (PIED3704) module with Dr Yoshiharu Kobayashi. I will also take part in teaching Analysing Data (PIED2711).

Please feel free to meet with me during office hours. My office hours this term are: Tuesdays 4-5pm (online) and Thursdays 4-5pm (in-person). Usually, my office is room 13.38 of the Social Sciences Building. However, my office is currently closed for maintenance. The location for my in-person office hours this term is EC Stoner 9.60. Please email in advance before setting up either meeting.

For more urgent matters, you can also communicate with me by email — I’ll do my best to respond as promptly as possible.
